weekly collective (®) was founded by Social Entrepreneur, Transformational Speaker and Servant Leader, Sharon Kotsonas. Originally from Puerto Rico, Sharon moved to AZ in 2005 and has settled in the town of Gilbert, AZ with her husband Karl, originally from Minnesota, and her two adult children. Sharon lost a 23-yr. old son in 2015 as a result of a substance abuse disorder. Her faith, family and friends have been the main support through her grief and healing journey.
Sharon is a former Spanish high school teacher and currently holds a full-time job in sales, she’s also a licensed Realtor (®). She serves as a Lay Leader at the First United Methodist Church of Gilbert and leads the weekly Children’s Moments. Her dedication to helping others led her to facilitate a support group for Hurting Moms (®) and Grieving Moms (®) for a total of three years. She continuously invests in the well-being of her community and strives to support causes that promote spiritual, social and mental wellness. For this purpose, she founded weekly collective (®); a safe and welcoming community that provides encouragement, resources, training and other opportunities to help build a happier, healthier and productive community.
